Webinar: The diverse and dynamic nature of sibling caregiving over time

Sibling relationships are our longest-lasting relationships. Nearly one third of siblings will assume the role of providing care for their adult brother or sister with a disability.

With support from CCCE, Siblings Canada and Dr. Pamela Block from Western University have been studying these relationships to gain better insight into how relationships change over time, particularly as parents age and are no longer able to provide care.

The results were not what we expected. We’re excited to share our preliminary findings in a virtual webinar on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 10:30 – 11:30 am EDT. Helen Ries, co-founder of Siblings Canada and Dr. Pamela Block will be presenting.
