Mindfulness for Leaders and Management Professionals in Health, Home Care, and Disability Support Services

As part of our commitment to support the health and wellness of care providers in Canada, the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence is working with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre to offer a six-week mindfulness program to learn and practice mindfulness skills for leaders and management professionals in the health, home care, and disability support  services sector.

The program is led by Sue Hutton, a mindfulness teacher with over 30 years of experience. The weekly sessions are designed for participants to learn and practice mindfulness skills in to reduce stress and improve their quality of life.

About the program

Starting October 11, 2023, Sue will host weekly 60-minute session every Wednesday over a six-week period. Registrants will receive:

  • Audio links to short and accessible mindfulness practice specifically for leaders and management in the developmental services sector
  • Digital workbooks, literature and support materials.
  • Weekly email with reminders for home practice

Registration is required for this event. Participants can join in a way that is comfortable for them. Being on camera is optional.
